This is an EXO centric fic fest so all pairings must involve current or past exo members. Remain ANONYMOUS throughout the fest until the reveals. So no matter how excited you are, keep your lips sealed and your fic between you and your beta :)Minimum word count is 500 words. The sky’s your limit when it comes to maximum. No graphic depictions of rape. Dub con and pedophilia are also not allowed. Past rape flashbacks are allowed as long as they are not graphic and are tagged clearly. All triggering content must be clearly tagged especially any graphic descriptions of violence, blood, gore and major character death. We are very strict on this and will skim through the fics personally to make sure. The very last rule is that we value respect above everything here at EXOnce. The mods are human too and will make mistakes. We ask for your understanding as we navigate through this fest. Respect the mods and other writers and we will respect you.
Prompting for this fest is going to be very much different from a lot of other fests, so please read the details carefully! Prompters will have to options to prompt either a general tale OR a specific prompt. This is different from our first round where we only allowed general tales. There will be a compiled list of general tales presented as prompting is happening so please check back to it so as not to repeat prompt. You are encouraged to include any relevant links and information regarding the fairytale. You may also include any book titles of retellings of that fairytale/folk tale that you have read and you think may inspire the writer. You may only prompt a tale that is already in the list, if you have any extra relevant links and information to add. The prompt archive will also be open throughout the prompting and we will include all past tales from the first round. If you wish to write a specified prompt, then it will be no different than other fic fest! Just fill in the forms as stated! If at any point you are confused, because we understand this is a little unconventional, do contact us! Our DMs are always open and we have a curious cat linked in our bio!~ As stated in our original guidelines post, no rape, no dub con and no pedophilia will be tolerated!
Notes: You don't have to have sent a prompt to claimSelf prompts are allowed. Claiming is a FIRST COME FIRST SERVED basis so the prompt will go to whoever submits the form first! Fanartists are also welcome! Just fill in the form accordingly! Do fill in the form correctly so that we can have an easier time to organize and send out your claiming confirmation! Remember to stay ANONYMOUS for the duration of the fest! All fics submitted should have either a fairytale or folk tale backbone! If you need an extension for any reason, do contact us! We don't bite and are extremely accomodating to extensions! If you do have to drop out for any reason, please don't ghost us. Just let us know! We'll be sad to see you go but it's a lot easier than ghosting! All fics will be posted on AO3 so having an account is very, very highly encouraged.
GENERAL TALES One TALE can be claimed 3 times, as seen in the archive. If all 3 boxes in the archive are filled in and the TALE is striked out, the TALE can no longer be claimed. There are no limits to how you can interpret the story. Prequels and sequels to the TALE are also accepted. When filling in the form, do select the TALE option. TALE numbers always begin with 'T' so please take care when filling in the form. The pairings and links are all extra information for the TALE that you are not required to use. They are there for inspiration only!
PROMPTS Select the PROMPT option in the form. Fill in the PROMPT number. PROMPT numbers will always start with 'P' so don't mix it up with the tales. Do try to fill in at least 3 different prompts so that you can at least get one that you like. Take note of the prompter's RATING, LIKES and DISLIKES and TRIGGER WARNINGS~ If you are writing a SELF PROMPT do click the self prompt option.

Of course! Inspiration is never constant and if you feel like a prompt is bogging you down and wish to change prompts, do let us know as soon as possible!What is the Nature of Prompt section in the form?
It refers to whether you are writing a Prompt or a TALE! If you are writing a PROMPT, the prompt number begins with a 'P'. If you are writing a TALE, the tale number begins with a 'T'.Why does the archive have so many boxes/ what do the boxes mean?
~ The boxes are attributed to the TALES. Each TALE can be claimed by 3 different people. Each time the same TALE is claimed, a box will be marked out. If the entire TALE is greyed and struck out, the TALE is no longer open for claiming.
Fanart and Fanedits are very welcome! Select fanart or fanedit when claiming! Fanart slots will be separate from the fic slots so that the same TALE or PROMPT may be used multiple times by both artists and writers. Fanart is not only limited to TALES. Artists may claim specific PROMPTS to create art/edits too! This means that both TALES and PROMPTS can be claimed twice, once by an artist, and once by a writer! Crediting is very important to us so we will not be posting any artwork for artists. Instead, artists will post their art on their own twitter account with the specific hashtag for the round and we will RT and add it to the Masterlist during postings! If you do not have a twitter account but you have an AO3 account, you can also post the art to our collection!~ If you are confused, do contact us via DM or our CC linked in our bio!
